At a time when the quartz revolution was beginning to take place this watch with automatic Cal. 1010 series movement carried on both the style and mechanical functionality of a traditional Seamaster.
This Cosmic 2000 is large for the era, measuring 38mm in diameter by a full 48mm long. It is one of our favourite models of the Cosmic 2000 because of the dimensional and rich dial.
It has fully Omega parts down to the hands and crown. It has been meticulously restored with a true expertly done restoration - it presents as about a 9.7 out of 10 condition. Our photos couldn't do it justice.
Its uniquely constructed case, with movement holder, presents as mint - the stamping on the back is still very strong and clear. It has slight aging underneath one lug. On the wrist the sunburst finish looks amazing and make the watch look like new!
Its original dial has been meticulously custom refinished in a distinctive aqua tone. As you can see from the printing could pass as Omega factory done even under magnification.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping extremely accurate time on par with a new Omega even when tested on a machine that spins it in all directions like it is being worn on the wrist.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
